Donna & Alan wedding at Vrede en Lust

Donna & Alan’s wedding was at Vrede en Lust

I loved how Donna looked:The dress, the hair, the Jimmy Choo’s! Everything about her look worked together so well and I was inspired to create art! I had an easy time capturing “the look of love” as this couple just looked so in love at their wedding! You can’t miss it – that focussed “I am in a bubble” stare that happens between a couple and it is wonderful to experience. You must understand that as a photographer looking through your lens, you see these moments focussed, nothing else distracts your vision and you often zoom into those special looks!

During the ceremony, the best men on the one side held a white ribbon, woven through all the guests to the other side, where the bridesmaids was standing. The couple’s rings was then passed all along the ribbon and every guest could touch and send the ring along with a blessing. The ribbon was then finally brought to the couple. I have photographed so many weddings and it’s great to experience something new like this.

Donna sure knows how to have a good time! You could see how much fun she had dancing and I love the photo of her “showing of her ring” during the speeches!
