Finally!I am going to be featured on Top Billing tonight!

That is right! Tonight 2 April 2009 on SABC 3 @ 19:30, I am going to be seen on Top Billing! (SA’smost prestigious and well known TV magazine show)  Top Billing is doing a feature with me on “Trends in Wedding Photography”.

The first wedding I ever shot was that of a friend in my church and since then she always said that I have got to get on Top Billing! (She is a fan of Top Billing!) So a few years later this dream has come true! I thank God for making this dream come true!

I don’t want to give the feature away, but let’s just say 2 bridal couples, 1,5 days shooting in a car graveyard and a few hours in the water on a beautiful Cape Town beach! Sounds amazing, well it was! I still have this perfect picture in mind where I am in the water with my camera, the Top Billing crew behind me on rocks and half way in the water, the presenter Jeannie D on my right with a couple in the water in their wedding attires! It was priceless! (The only problem -no one took a photo of this – AAGGHH!!!)

The other day we shot at my office and I had lots of fun with Jeannie D and the crew!

I must say it was quite difficult having to focus on creating awesome photos while thinking about being interviewed!

A big thanks to Top Billing for running this awesome feature and the Top Billing team, Jeannie D, Lars the director, Julian the cool sound guy and Charles the stylish Cameraman – I love watching him work!

Also thanks to Susan Ellis for making a 6 metre veil on my request! Lizette from Leipzig for making the bouquets, my good old friend Du Wayne and Jacqueline for being my assistants on the shoots!

The previous 5 times I was on Top Billing was weddings they covered where I was the photographer, including Nicole Fox’s wedding which was on last week and the first time was a shoot I did with brides getting dressed into their bridal gowns again. (read more on this old post.)
