My time to be on the other side of a photographers lens…

While I was shooting the wedding in Greece my friend Otto said his friend RJ Kern was also shooting a wedding in Greece. We were on two different islands, but I was on my way to Santorini.

Without real directions and not sure where the Meteor Cafe was on Santorini, my wife and I set out hoping to find it and meet up with RJ. To my biggest surprise we found it! It was in Oia and we had a lovely meeting with him and his fiance Krista.

Just before we left he did a “less-than-5-minute” shoot with us and it was strange yet fun to be on the other side of a professional photographers lens! (I have friends and a brother that is professional, but its different when you know them well.)

Super thanks RJ! Please look at the photos on his blog and he wrote some great tips for shooting a 5-minute portrait session!
